My relationship with God has been stuck in the “it’s complicated” status for quite a while now. Sometimes He and I are not on speaking terms; sometimes we really have it out. One day I’m wrestling, another day I’m apathetic. As is common with troubled relationships, I can’t seem to track down when it started, or even why.

A King Who Stands
This fall on Wednesday mornings, a group of women from City Church are gathering to study the book of Acts. Wednesday morning Bible study is always a highlight of my week because of the women and relationships in the room, but in particular because I am regularly reminded that the Holy Spirit is at work in each of our hearts.
