Faithfulness as Christian Citizens with Brad Littlejohn
In a culture riven by polarization, there is no shortage of voices telling Christians what to think about politics. But before we can begin to answer questions of whom or what to vote for, what stands to take or compromises to make, we must first learn how to think about politics.
Why did God make us for political life?
What does it mean to live in submission to imperfect and sinful governments?
What is the purpose of law and how should Christians relate to the web of laws that structure our lives?
How do we think about our dual citizenship—as citizens of heaven and as members of the particular nations to which God has called us?
Join us for a two-day seminar, guided by Brad Littlejohn, on what it means to be good citizens and faithful Christians in a society where these are no longer the same thing.
We'll meet in room 300 from 9PM to 7PM on Friday, September 20th and from 9AM to 11AM on Saturday, September 21st.
