Student Ministry

Student Ministry at City Church aims to teach and embody the love of Christ to 6th graders through 12th graders. It’s designed to support parents in the discipleship of their children and to provide a place where increasingly independent adolescents can encounter Christ and be shaped by His grace. This Ministry is led by adult volunteers under the supervision of the church pastoral staff.

Our Student Ministry is led by staff member Adam Bailey. All volunteers are members of City Church who have passed through eligibility screenings and background checks. Kids and leaders meet regularly for dinner and Bible study throughout the academic year. Additionally, students go on an annual retreat weekend at a Young Life camp, Rockbridge Alum Springs, each fall (middle schoolers) and spring (high schoolers).
