Sending Habits Reading Plan: Spring 2021

In the Gospel of John, Jesus is identified as the incarnate Word sent by his Father to redeem his creation. Unlike the words of a human author, the divine words of Scripture are animated by the Spirit of Christ, the eternal Word. Because of this our Bible isn’t a static, one-way action. Rather, it is a dynamic conversation wherein God sends through the Word and spirit the light of his truth into our hearts that we might, in turn, live as sent people. 

Throughout Lent we reimagined our life together as a church. Now, over the next five weeks, we will reimagine our church’s life together in the world. What does it mean to be a people sent with the Gospel into our homes, workplaces, and communities?
