2022 City Church Women's Retreat


Join us for the City Church 2022 Women’s Retreat!

After a long season in the pandemic, we are excited to gather together for our women’s retreat. This year our retreat weekend will be a wonderful time for reconnection, spiritual growth, and refreshment! We hope you will join us for this weekend getaway just minutes outside the city.

When and Where:

Saturday and Sunday, January 29th and 30th
Roslyn Retreat Center
The retreat begins Saturday morning and ends Sunday before lunch. Saturday will start off with a morning talk followed by lunch and free time for the afternoon; Saturday evening we will gather for another talk, dinner, and ample time for hanging out. Sunday will be a slow morning including breakfast and the final session. The weekend includes lunch, dinner, and breakfast at Roslyn.

Due to covid, we will be offering registration with and without lodging. Lodging options include a single room or a shared room with two separate beds.

Registration Cost:

Regular Registration (SHARED room): $130
   - Lunch, dinner, and breakfast included.
   - Lodging is shared double rooms with queen-sized beds.


Regular Registration (SINGLE room): $150
   - Lunch, dinner, and breakfast included.
   - Lodging is for a single room with a queen sized bed.

Regular Registration (NO lodging): $70
   - Lunch, dinner, and breakfast included.
   - Commuter fee. 

**Register before Monday, December 6th for an early bird discount of 20% off!**
Payment in installments is available.

DO NOT let cost prohibit you from attending. Please contact Meg Haden (meg@citychurchrva.com) to discuss financial assistance before early registration ends on December 6th.

Giving to the Scholarship Fund:

If you are able, please consider contributing to the retreat scholarship fund. Your contribution to this fund is important and helps to provide a wonderful weekend to women with financial constraints.

Our Speaker:

Meg Haden 
Meg was born and raised in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. After graduating from the University of Virginia in 2002 with a degree in Religious Studies, Meg moved to Austin, Texas and spent over seven years working for Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at the University of Texas. After her time with RUF, Meg was Special Projects Manager at the Lyndon Johnson Presidential Library and Museum where she worked on special exhibits, events, and a book project. Meg moved to Richmond in February 2011 after marrying Jon-Marc, the area director of FOCUS in Richmond and Central Virginia. She joined City Church’s staff as the Director of Women’s Ministry shortly thereafter. Meg has faithfully served as the Women’s Ministry Director at City Church for 10 years. Meg and Jon-Marc live in Byrd Park with their two children—a boy and a girl.
