Church-Wide Events
Welcome Back Sunday | Sunday, September 10th: Every September we host Welcome Back Sunday, a time to share a meal and connect with old friends and new as we look towards the fall. Please plan on joining us for Welcome Back Sunday 2023 immediately after the service on September 10th.
City Groups | Starting Mid-September: City Groups are what we call small groups. Fill out this interest form to get connected to one!
Sunday Formation | Weekly, Sunday September 17th-November 5th: Sunday Formation takes place at the church immediately after the worship service and serves as a time for us to share a meal and learn together. There’s something for everyone!
Leadership Basics | Beginning Sunday, September 24th: Leadership Basics is required for all candidates for elder and deacon AND is open to everyone who would like to come. We’ll meet Sunday mornings for eight two-hour sessions (roughly every other week) for practical teachings from Erik and sharing from staff and lay leaders within the church. Registration coming soon!
City Church Harvest Parties | Dates TBD: A twist on our annual Harvest Party! We will host smaller Harvest Parties in neighborhoods around town. Details coming soon!
Women’s Ministry
Monday Evening Small Group | Begins September 11th: This group will meet on Monday evenings at 7:30PM in room 300 at Grace Covenant. This small group will be a great time to grow in Christ through fellowship, accountability, scripture, and prayer. Register here.
Wednesday Morning Bible Study | Begins September 13th: Fall Bible Study begins on Wednesday, September 13th, and concludes on Wednesday, November 16th. Childcare check-in will be from 9:30am to 9:45am, Bible Study begins at 9:45AM and will end at 11:30AM. Register here.

Youth & Children’s Ministry
Play and Popsicle | Friday, September 1st: 3rd-5th graders are invited to Forest Hill Park, 4-5:30PM, to spend time together and kick off the holiday weekend.
Modgnik | September 8th-10th: Our middle schoolers head to Rockbridge for the weekend! Register here.
Christmas Pageant | December 2nd: Details coming soon!
Randolph Caroling | December 9th: All are welcome to spend the morning with residents of the Randolph Place apartments to sing carols, make crafts, and enjoy donuts.
