Summer at City Church

Ok, City Church, let’s talk summertime.

Even though City Groups and City Kids will be on pause until September, we’ve still got plenty of ways for you and yours to stay connected over the next few months.

Please take a moment and mark these dates on your calendar—more details on all of them will be coming soon!

All-Church Picnic: June 5th, 5:30p, at the Carillon
Let’s celebrate the start of summer together! We’ll provide drinks; you bring a picnic dinner. ALL are welcome!

Summer Vespers: June 12th, 19th, 26th and July 10th, 17th, and 24th, 7pm in room 303 at Grace Covenant
A midweek time to connect with God, others, and City Church through worship and discussion.

Summer City Kids: July 13th, 2pm-5pm, Stone House at Forest Hill Park
Kids ages 4 through 5th grade are invited to take part in Wild Wonder Creation Care Camp. This one-day event allows children to delight in God as creator, redeemer, and sustainer of all things by immersing them in the wonders of the created world. Through scripture lessons, nature study, and play, our kids will learn that all of God’s works are good and that they are beloved creations, too!

All-Church Pool Party: July 31st, 5:30pm, Southampton Pool
It’s…well…it’s a pool party. ALL are welcome. $5 per person to swim.

Welcome Back Sunday: August 18th, after church, Grace Covenant Fellowship Hall
Our traditional goodbye to summer as we welcome VCU students back for the new semester, meet new people, share a meal, and gear up for the fall.
